Davidsons swings into action at golf competition

At Davidsons, we’re well known for swinging into action for good causes, and so it proved when we attended an annual golfing competition held at Longhirst Hall Golf Club. As sponsors of the Davidsons Trophy, we teed things up nicely for the ladies of the Golf Club.

Our Business Manager, Colin Davidson, was doing the duty for us at the sporting showdown and presented the winner’s trophy to Lynne Moore, from Stannington.

“Davidsons of Morpeth was approached to sponsor the competition when it launched three years ago,” said Colin.

“We are proud to be a part of such a great event and always try and support community projects as best as we can.

“On the day itself we took along a couple of cars to give people a glimpse of the new Grandland X and Mokka X, which were a big hit with everyone.”

Golf club and competition spokeswoman Kay Smith said: “We’d like to say a big thank you to Colin for all his support on the day, and for Davidsons of Morpeth for sponsoring what is always a great occasion for everyone involved.

“Thanks must also go to Graham Chambers and his team at the club for the excellent state of the Lakes course.”

Boasting a muscular SUV body with a sporty and stylish feel, the Mokka X offers serious off-road capabilities whether you’re in the town or the country. Meanwhile, the Grandland X is a car for adventure. With elegant lines, muscular curves and athletic poise, this SUV combines both agility and power.
